Our Story
Wisprr was created by Sohail, a senior React Native developer with over four years of experience in mobile and web development and a 15-year background in graphic design. Frustrated with voice recorder apps that either demanded expensive subscriptions, uploaded recordings to the cloud without consent, or were littered with ads and dark patterns, he decided to build something different.
The goal was simple: create a voice recorder that works with a floating overlay, never stores your recordings, and gives users AI-powered transcription — completely free, on every platform. Wisprr is the result — a clean, fast, and private voice tool for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux that treats users as people, not products.
