Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using the Wisprr website and Windows application.
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Use of Wisprr
Wisprr is provided as a Windows voice-dictation and writing tool. You are responsible for your account, device, content, use of generated text, and compliance with applicable law.
Free application and external provider costs
The current Wisprr application has no Wisprr subscription price. Transcription and optional AI transforms use the Groq account and API key you provide. Groq pricing, quotas, rate limits, model availability, and terms are separate and may change without Wisprr's control.
Audio processing and privacy
Audio is sent to Groq when you request transcription. Wisprr does not promise through these terms that provider-side processing is offline, immediately deleted, or zero-retention. Review the current Privacy Policy and Groq terms before using sensitive information.
Consent and lawful recording
You must have the legal right to record or process speech. Laws may require notice or consent from every speaker. Do not use Wisprr to intercept communications, violate privacy, infringe rights, or process content unlawfully.
AI output and human review
Transcriptions and transformed text can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate. Review output before use. Do not rely on Wisprr as the sole source for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, employment, or other high-impact decisions.
API key and account security
You are responsible for protecting, restricting, monitoring, and rotating your Groq API key. You are responsible for provider charges or usage associated with your account unless applicable law says otherwise.
Availability and changes
Wisprr, its website, downloads, integrations, features, and external providers may change, stop, fail, or become unavailable. Platform support is currently Windows 10 and Windows 11. No uninterrupted or error-free service is promised.
Disclaimer and limitation
Wisprr is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Additional terms may apply through Groq, hosting, email, or other external providers.
